To my ears, this tube is “sweet” sounding. It has the characteristic Heerlen “mid-hump.” Sounds glorious clean and overdriven on neck and middle positions of a Stratocaster, but thins out in the bridge. No tube in V1 has reacted so well to my pick attack as this tube. It is aggressive when you kick in some gain.

Tried this in V1 on a Laney Lionheart L5 Studio. Very detailed, great sounding tube. Warm high-mids and highs, tight bass. Low-mids are clear, doesn’t get muddy when driven. Very dynamic tube, responds to a pick attack extremely well.
