A preamp triode, predecessor to 6J5 with which the mutual conductance has been increased, with a consequential reduction in plate resistance. However, these are direct replacement for the 6J5. The glass type (GT) is quite rare. We have these Hytron's boxed and marketed by Zaerix, England.
