Hi there,
ReplyDeleteon March 23rd I bought "Standard 5S2D Sweden, Black Plate, original label, matched pair" and they're great!!
I received a BRIMAR ECC83/CV492 from Koray a few days ago that really changed my amplifiers dynamics for the better. In guitar amps I've found this tube works great in V2.
ReplyDeleteI just received a matched couple of Brimar 12AX7 (CV492) from Koray for my Marantz 7C phono stage replica. For the DIY period, I had some ordinary tubes so in case of voltage problems etc I would lose cheap tubes. When I unpacked these and installed, the amp became something totally different. Even before a total warm-up, they sounded very smooth, very detailed and very neutral (as Koray had offered me these tubes since I wanted neutral). Would recommend these tubes but more than that, I recommend to ask Koray for the best option. Most expensive one doesn't have to be it for every case.
