Made by Rochester plant of Thorn-AEI (Brimar) in 1960's. Military spec tubes with ribbed long plates and halo getter. These are very balanced from top to bottom and have low noise/microphonics.
Brimar has character similar to
Mullard, but it provides some advantages over Mullard for music where
warmth and details are important. It has warmth of Mullard with more HF extension. A few of these are labeled for Haltron and Scoba.
